Neon Pothos

Neon Pothos is a vibrant, easy-care trailing plant adored for its glowing, chartreuse-yellow leaves that brighten any room instantly. This variety grows quickly, adapts to nearly any home environment, and is perfect for beginners, busy plant lovers, and collectors who want a bold pop of color. At Mulliken Nursery, we grow our Neon Pothos under warm, filtered light to enhance its intense neon glow.

Light
• Bright, indirect light brings out its strongest color
• East or west windows with filtered light are ideal
• Too little light = dull, greenish leaves
• Too much direct sun = leaf scorch

Water
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry.
• Avoid soggy soil
• Reduce watering in winter
• A consistent rhythm prevents brown tips

Humidity & Temperature
• Ideal humidity: 40–60% (but tolerant of lower)
• Prefers 65–85°F
• Avoid cold drafts and heat vents

Soil Mix
Chunky, well-draining aroid mix (bark, perlite, coco coir).
Fast drainage keeps roots healthy and prevents rot.

Fertilizer
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer at ¼–½ strength.
Optional boosters: worm castings or diluted banana water.

Troubleshooting
• Pale/dull color → needs more light
• Brown tips → inconsistent watering or low humidity
• Yellow leaves → overwatering
• Leggy stems → increase light

Size Guide
• 4" – young starter plant
• 6" – fuller, established trailing growth
• 8" – long vines and vibrant color
• XL – lush, cascading vines, ready for hanging

Acclimation
Mild leaf curl or softness during the first week is normal.
