Hoya Carnosa Quinquenervia

Hoya quinquenervia is a beautiful vining Hoya with thick, glossy green leaves and a classic wax-plant look. Its name refers to the noticeable veining in the leaves, giving the foliage a little extra texture and character compared with plainer green Hoyas.

This easygoing tropical vine looks wonderful trailing from a shelf or basket, and it can also be trained to climb a small trellis. With maturity and the right conditions, Hoyas may reward growers with clusters of fragrant, star-shaped blooms.

Hoya quinquenervia prefers bright, indirect light and a chunky, well-draining potting mix. Allow the mix to dry partially between waterings, as Hoyas do not like to stay wet for long periods.
