Care Requirements

💡 Light:
Bright, indirect light is best. The leaves darken and vein color intensifies under strong filtered light.

💧 Water:
Keep soil evenly moist but not wet. Allow the top 1 inch to dry before watering again.

🌫 Humidity:
High humidity (65–85%) keeps leaves large, velvety, and heart-shaped. Excellent candidate for greenhouse shelves or a humidifier.

🌱 Soil:
Use a chunky aroid mix with bark, perlite, moss, and a bit of potting soil. Excellent airflow = fewer root issues.

🌡 Temperature:
65–80°F. Avoid temperatures below 60°F — velvet anthuriums are sensitive to cold.

🍽 Fertilizer:
Feed every 3–4 weeks with a gentle, balanced fertilizer. Reduce during winter.
